Katy Perry coming to South Africa

International pop star and funny girl, Katy Perry will be visiting Johannesburg for the first time. On 24 January 2018, Katy Perry made a video announcement as part of her WITNESS: The Tour, addressing South Africans directly.

WITNESS: The Tour has received positive responses from critics the world over. The Australian Daily Telegraph, praised Perry and dismissed her critics, addressing the reality of mental health and suicide in Australia, and pointed out that celebrities sharing their own struggles can have a significant impact on the public. The tour itself is geared to bring awareness to social problems such as suicide and addiction, things that she has faced in her own capacity and managed to overcome.
