Greatest Rivalry (South Africa vs New Zealand)

Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry — a tour like no other — returns every four years, alternating between South Africa and New Zealand.

The inaugural tour kicks off in August–September 2026, when New Zealand travels to South Africa for an eight-match spectacle, featuring four Test matches at; Ellis Park (Johannesburg), DHL Stadium (Cape Town), FNB Stadium (Johannesburg), and a historic fourth Test at an international venue.

The All Blacks will also take on South Africa’s powerhouse franchises — the DHL Stormers, Hollywoodbets Sharks, Vodacom Bulls, and Lions — in what promises to be a thrilling showcase of world-class rugby.

In 2030, the rivalry reignites on New Zealand soil as South Africa embarks on their first professional-era tour of the country, challenging provincial sides and contesting a blockbuster Test series.

The next chapter in Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry is about to begin.
